Nuclear Aluminium Foil Tape 50M 50-Micron
AT506 is a 50 micron aluminium foil tape, coated one side with a dispersion acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The tape is backed with a strong polyethylene coated release paper.
This tape is flame retardant and self extinguishing givinga very safe performance where risk of fire is an issue. Itmeets various specifications including BS476 Part 6 & Part 7Category 1 and Fire Class M1.
AT506 meet the industrial standard EDF PMUC which makes it ideal for sealing metal or plastic ducting in nuclear power stations.
AT506 offers high performance, durability and resistance against extreme temperatures (from -20˚C to +110˚C).
Applications:
- Sealing metal or plastic ducting.
- Insulation of heater casings and high pressure steam pipe insulation.
- Sealing cold store insulation.
- Heat reflection.
